Kurneshwar (Khinditala Ganapati) Temple Satara

Kurneshwar or Khinditala Ganapati is the Temple dedicated for Lord Ganesh. It is “Gram Daivat of Satara. It is very peaceful place. This temple is surrounded by many trees.

One can visit this place by your own vehicle or by the state transport. Children enjoy gasping at playing rabbits and brightly colored peacock. People of every age come here, some for praying whereas some comes to experience calmness in the nature’s bounty.

On the back side of the temple there is a path going down if you continue to walk down the path you will see a Lord Shiva temple which is also a peaceful place and often visited my many village pilgrims who come here to offer their prayers.

How To Reach?

You can reach here from Rajwada via Samarth Mandir. From Samarth Mandir there is a straight road for Kurneshwar. On the way to Kurneshwar you will pass through a Tunneland after passing the tunnel take a Left. it is just a 5-10 minutes distance from the tunnel. You can self drive up to Kurneshwar Temple.
