DAHIWADI – Dahiwadi is situated 25km away from Satara . It’s an important taluka of Satara where all the government offices are located. Manganga river flows though Dahiwadi. Siddanath is the presiding deity of this place. A beautiful temple is built for the deity.
GONDOWLE BUDRUK – 4km from Dahiwadi, Gondhale Budruk is famous for Gondhale Maharaj. You can find the Samadhi of Brahmachaitanya Gondhale Maharaj in this village. The Temple is very huge with rest houses for the pilgrims. You can have a stay at this place with excellent food served throughout the year. The Temple of Lord Ram, Laxman and Sita is situated here. MESHWAD – Meshwad is on Satara – Pandharpur highway. It is famous for Siddeshwar and Jogeshwar temples. The Rathoustav is the major attraction for the tourist. A 13 century temple of Lord Shiva is also situated here. The Lingam is in deep caves. It is opened for common people only during the festival of Mahashivratri.
