Mayani Bird Sanctuary

Mayani is one of the most prominent bird sanctuaries of India . The bird sanctuary is globally
reckoned for its gigantic range of species for migratory birds and local birds.

The Mayani Bird Sanctuary lies in the Satara district of Maharashtra state, thirteen miles south-
east of Vaduj at the junction of the Tasganv-Mograla and Malharpeth-Pandharpur roads. The
town is walled and entered by gates on the west and east.
